Last week we hit the hills behind the Temecula wineries at golden hour to take photos with Kendall and Tracy to celebrate their engagement. Kendall’s Lucious long blonde locks would make any bald guy jealous… especially Andy. When we asked how they met Tracy responded “We liked each other and talked on the phone late at night and held hands walking around the mall in town when we were about 12 years old. Then, we went to different high schools and didn’t talk a whole lot. A couple of years out of high school we started talking again and immediately the spark was there. I remember telling my girlfriend, “this is it! I’m going to marry this guy. “ Take a look at a few from their engagement session below!

How did you two first meet? 

A: Kendall and I met in the 6th grade at our middle school. I always had the hugest crush on him!

What makes your relationship special? Tell us some things that you both value in your time together. (example: pushing each other to new limits, love to travel, huge comic book fans, foodies, etc.) What makes your relationship unique? 

A: We both work hard but play harder! We enjoy working out, traveling, cooking together, and watching tv. We also have a husky named Wade who is our best friend!

How did you know your partner was the one? When did you first know this in your relationship? (these may often be the same moment, but aren’t always) 

A: We liked each other and talked on the phone late at night and held hands walking around the mall in town when we were about 12 years old. Give us all the details about the proposal. How and where did it happen? Was it a surprise? What was the planning process? 

A: We were at his birthday dinner, both our familiesand some of our closest friends were present! He opened one of his “gifts” that was a little black box. I was completely surprised and instantly cried my eyes out! We have been together going on 8 years...

Tell us all about that ring! 

A: A year before he proposed we were casually talking about rings and he mentioned a certain cut he liked and how he imagined my ring to look someday, describing baugettes and an asscher cut diamond in a kite setting. He proposed with a custom made ring exactly how he had designed in his head a year prior.

Are you excited to start planning your wedding day? Do you have any ideas in mind yet? 

A: We are getting married on a rustic farm in wine country. Nothing fancy, just love!
