We recently met up with Tianna and Dillon to take engagement photos in Balboa Park. We were on the search for Redwood trees, which sounds crazy for San Diego, but sure enough we found giant redwood trees along the outskirts of the park. The forest looked like something we would have found in Northern California, here are a few favorites from our shoot with them.

It was so much fun getting to work with Tianna and Dillon and are so stoked for their wedding at Moniker Warehouse in June! Being able to work with couples before the wedding is so important since we get to connect with each other and hang out before meeting on your wedding day. For this particular shoot, Tianna and Dillon wanted to have a few different looks with different outfits. Balboa Park worked perfectly as there is so much variety and different places for us to shoot. We started at the Redwoods which blew us away, we made our way down a not-so-paved dirt trail and cut through fallen tree stumps where we surrounded by hundred-foot-tall trees, it was incredible. From there we made our way to the middle of Balboa park where we ended at the Cactus garden. When you have an obsession with the desert, but you live at the beach, you find yourself scheduling engagement photos at the Cactus Gardens at Balboa park since its convenient and close to home.
