Hood River Elopement Film

It’s up! After what feels like years, we finally were back to what we love doing in one of the most beautiful places on earth, Mount Hood in central Oregon a couple weeks ago. Amanda and Brandon had planned for their wedding to be held at a local venue in Temecula, California at Peltzer Winery, however due to restrictions with Covid they opted for a small wedding with close friends and family at Amanda's Uncles home in Hood River. We are so glad we were able to make it up to this part of the PNW to capture their elopement, and had an absolute blast traveling through Oregon and capturing their wedding. Enjoy!

Thanks so much for heading over and checking out our latest film! When we heard Amanda and Brandon were going to go through with their wedding just in a different location, we were so down to make the trip up to Oregon. After exploring Portland and the lower portion of Northern California we mapped out the areas we have been dying to hit and flew into San Francisco and got a rental car a week prior to their wedding. We cruised through the Redwoods and Humboldt County and made it up to Brookings the following day, a part of the Southern Oregon coast Brittney and I have dreamed of visiting for years now. We hit Sam. H Boardman State Park staying here for a few nights before venturing inland and taking in the waterfalls and gorges of central Oregon. It was a trip we will not soon forget, and already itching to get back up here, we feel we missed more spots on our list than we actually hit. The PNW is filled with endless areas to explore, it’s one of our favorite places in the states to roam and venture out to. If you are planning your wedding, or have also had to postpone due to the pandemic we would love to connect and here ideas that you may be tossing around. We love local weddings in Southern California but hitting the open road and traveling to knew locations to film and capture weddings is one of the most epic things in life for us. It’s definitely a bummer all of the rescheduling and replanning that has had to happen for countless couples, yet at the same time could be such a blessing as you have the flexibility to maneuver around the hurdles and plan for a ceremony in nature in some of the most amazing places in the country. From the desert to the mountains there is endless beauty to celebrate and say your I do’s as oppose to a venue. As destination wedding photographers and videographers we love nothing more than celebrating with couples in iconic locations, as mentioned if you are replanning or re-evaluation your wedding, hit us up! We would love to brainstorm and toss around ideas.
