Were a week away from the end of October and we’re deep in the wedding season. With continuous editing from recent weddings and planning the next upcoming weddings to wrap up the rest of October and into November, were taking a look back on some of our engagement shoots from the beginning of the year!

Having trouble on choosing a location for your engagement photos in San Diego? Sometimes its not an easy decision. With so much opportunity for new areas to take photos here in Southern California, it makes engagement photography here in San Diego a dream! As wedding photographers we have our fair share of options to choose from when scouting the best engagement locations. We love leaving the option up to couples on where they decide to take their engagement photos, however sometimes it can be straight up tough if you are not to particular on the type of vibe you want. That’s why we have put together a few of our favorite locations for you to consider when it is time for you to schedule your engagement photos.

 Santa Maragrita River Trail – This beautiful river trail is located between Temecula and Fallbrook and offers awesome trails for engagement photos, if you are getting married in Southern California and looking for an outdoor scenery to showcase to friends and family this is a great choice. Given the distance from San Diego it is easily accessible off Highway 78 as well for residents from Temecula and Murrieta. We strive to meet our clients half way and this is an ideal location for Southern California engagements.

Mission Trails – At 5,800 acres there is no shortage of ideas for photos at Mission Trails. This is the sixth-largest municipally owned park in the United States. We have been taking engagement photos here for several years and love shooting here in fall as the leaves turn color it is a beautiful scene.

Cowels Mountain – Looking for views overlooking the San Diego mountains? This hike offers dramatic vistas of nearby lakes in the distance and is for couples who want more of an adventurous style engagement shoot.

Scripps Pier – Head over to take a look at our recent blog. we love when couples are down for beach engagement photos in La Jolla. We have taken tons of destination travelers here who want beach engagement photos. Living in San Diego we have become beach photographers in San Diego and have been sought out from those looking for local photographers and videographers. It is amazing taking engagement photos at Scripps Pier and exploring the Southern California coastline.

 Sunset Cliffs – Similar to Scripps, there is a vast amount of coastline to explore. Although we do not take photos here as often, we would love to connect and take engagement photos at Sunset Cliffs. There are so many different areas and caves to explore and at low tide we are able to get on the beach and roam the sand. If your looking for engagement photos at Sunset Cliffs make sure to hit us up and we can plan a time to explore the caves at low tide.

La Jolla Coves – Looking for a La Jolla engagement photographer? We are based in La Jolla and consider the coves home. We love shooting in La Jolla Village and heading to Windan Sea which is often the least crowded of the beaches here. Feel free to check out our blog post from our recent beach engagement.
