Shoutout to the amazing planners, models and list of incredible people for bringing this vision to life. We are beyond excited to work with you all throughout the rest of the year. A very special Thank you to Neta Dover and aLouise Bridal for the dress. Below is a quick run down of the bridal dresses we have worked with and styles over the years. For all those brides to be, this is obviously one of the most fun aspects of the wedding planning so make sure to soak it all in and enjoy the planning/research.
Wedding dress styles have evolved over the years, reflecting changing fashion trends, cultural influences, and personal preferences. Here are some popular wedding dress styles:
Ball Gown: This classic style features a fitted bodice and a full skirt, often with layers of tulle or organza. It creates a dramatic silhouette and is ideal for formal weddings.
A-line: A universally flattering style that resembles the shape of the letter "A." It is fitted at the waist and gradually flares out towards the hem, creating a balanced and elegant look.
Mermaid/Trumpet: These styles are fitted through the bodice and hips, then flare out at or below the knee. Mermaid dresses hug the body closely, while trumpet dresses have a slightly more relaxed fit through the thigh.
Sheath/Column: These dresses have a slim, form-fitting silhouette that skims the body from top to bottom. They are often made from lightweight fabrics and are perfect for beach or casual weddings.
Empire Waist: Characterized by a high waistline that sits just below the bust, empire waist dresses have a flowing skirt that skims over the body. This style is flattering for many body types and has a romantic, ethereal feel.
Tea Length: Tea-length dresses feature a hemline that falls between the knee and the ankle, offering a vintage-inspired look that is both playful and sophisticated.
Boho/Free-spirited: These dresses often feature relaxed silhouettes, soft fabrics like lace or chiffon, and intricate bohemian-inspired details such as floral appliqués, fringe, or crochet.
Vintage/Retro: Inspired by fashion trends of the past, vintage and retro wedding dresses may feature elements from specific eras such as the 1920s flapper style, 1950s tea-length dresses, or 1970s bohemian chic.
Modern/Minimalist: Clean lines, simple silhouettes, and understated elegance define modern and minimalist wedding dresses. These dresses often feature sleek fabrics such as satin or crepe and minimal embellishments.
Two-Piece/Separates: A trendy option that consists of a separate top and skirt or trousers, allowing brides to mix and match pieces to create a unique look that reflects their personal style.
These are just a few examples of wedding dress styles, and there are countless variations and combinations to suit every bride's taste and vision for her special day.
