Los Angeles Wedding Venues For November and December with availability
With the California wildfires raging on here in Southern California and Northern California, families and homes have been torn apart by the catastrophe. It’s a terrifying and sad time for all throughout Los Angeles County and many of our brides and grooms have been impacted as well. We have currently been on the search for wedding venues throughout Southern California that have availability for this upcoming week of November 16-19th as well as the following weekend as one of the venues we were shooting at, Calamigos Ranch, in Malibu, has burned. After researching and talking with a few wedding coordinators we have found a very helpful Google doc that has compiled over 300 wedding venues in Southern California that are open this weekend if you are needing to rebook a location for your wedding. See the link below, along with a description of a few we have wrote about.
Local wedding venues available – November 2018
Rolling Greens Nursery – This hip venue is used for shows and different private events. The large space is super chic and offers great space for a modern wedding. Per their site “In 2009, Rolling Greens opened it’s second location in the historic Town Tire Co. building on Beverly Blvd in the heart of Los Angeles, CA. Originally designed in 1930 as an open-air market, we have kept the building’s original rustic character by restoring the exposed brick walls and wood-beamed ceilings.
This location is all about the home; from the remarkable assortment of containers and planted arrangements to one-of-a-kind found objects, furniture, candles, gifts and pantry must-haves, our assortment does not disappoint! The Arrangement Bar is also featured at this location where our Baristas create unique planted living + faux arrangements in collaboration with our customers. Our Los Angeles location has quickly established itself as a premier destination for those searching for something unique, original and new.”
South Coast Botanic Garden – If you need for your wedding to be outside, with over 87 acres of sweeping vistas, rolling meadows and blooming plants. This venue has multiple areas for you to host your wedding for guests, here is their list:
· Rose Garden (up to 150 guests*)
· Upper Meadow (up to 1,000 guests*)
· Lower Meadow (up to 300 guests*)
· Garden Amphitheater (up to 150 guests)
· Garden Amphitheater Lawn (up to 100 guests*)
· Koi Pond Patio (up to 100 guests*)
Serra Plaza – Per their site “Located adjacent to the charming and historic Los Rios District and within walking distance of Mission San Juan Capistrano, Serra Plaza is a hidden jewel. Reminiscent of times gone by, the sound of passing trains can be heard in the distance. The plaza offers old world charm with a pristine new feel. Whether your event is an intimate gathering or an extravagant gala, the plaza’s tree filled courtyard is the ideal setting and can accommodate up to 450 guests with ample parking. Hold your ceremony in front of our bubbling courtyard fountain or any area you desire. The stately beauty of the Grand Plaza is your own blank canvas to create the wedding of your dreams. No cookie cutter weddings here and with only one event at a time, you have complete privacy. Your guests are sure to have a wonderful time amidst the ambiance of our Spanish courtyard.
These are just a few of the venues we have looked into and recommend. The professionalism from their staff and images on their website seem appealing and would make for a great choose for the last minute. As stressful as this decision must be, we hope this list will make your efforts more helpful. Prayers to all the families that are going through this time.
