We have been photographing The Asam family for several years and to now be doing Parker’s senior photos is just crazy to say. Parker is a State champion and brought her horses out and we could not be more happy with the photos! Hope you enjoy 🙂

It is always such a joy photographing events outside of engagements and weddings. As much as we love capturing those big, beautiful love stories, there’s something incredibly refreshing about stepping into a different rhythm—one that’s more relaxed, more personal, and often filled with unexpected moments. These kinds of sessions allow me to slow down, to be fully present, and to explore new environments with a fresh creative lens.

This particular shoot was such a fun experience, set in the heart of wine country with Parker and her horses. The landscape was breathtaking—rolling hills draped in vines, the soft glow of the sun filtering through trees, and a gentle breeze that carried the scent of earth and grapes. It felt cinematic in every way, and the connection between Park and her horses brought a quiet intimacy to the whole afternoon. Watching her interact with them, completely in her element, was a reminder of how deeply powerful and healing the bond between human and animal can be.

Photographing this session was not just about capturing portraits, but about telling a story—one of connection, freedom, and a deep love for nature. We wandered through the fields, the horses grazing or gently nuzzling Parker, while she moved with such grace and ease among them. The authenticity of the moment was everything. Shoots like these feed the soul and remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place: to preserve real, beautiful moments that speak to the heart.
